Russian Sleep Experiment : A Nightmare

Good day, guys!

Today, we'll discuss a dreadful experiment that occurred throughout history. We don't know how much truth it truly contains. According to reports, in 2009, an anonymous account on the website Creepypasta Wiki published comprehensive information on this heinous experiment. So, what was the purpose of the experiment? Let's get this straight.

According to legend, the Soviet Union imprisoned five enemy troops of various ages in 1940. All five soldiers were imprisoned in a single room for 30 days and informed that if they complete the experiment without taking a single sleep, they would be released by the Soviet Union Armed Forces.

  • The 5 Hostages Have Been Provided With
All of the troops who were imprisoned in the one chamber were permitted to engage in common activities. Food, water, books, and a washroom were all available to them. All of the soldiers were given equal access to cleanliness, food, and education.
  • The Demand
In exchange for all of these benefits, they demanded that they be unable to sleep for the entire 30 days. They also lack a chair, table, or any other amenities that would allow them to sit quietly. They had no choice but to sit on the floorboards. Because the technology was not as advanced at the time and there were no CCTVs, two one-way mirrors were utilized as a 'look-into' device to watch the actions of that experiment. To keep the captives awake, an experimental gas including oxygen was delivered in a balanced amount in that chamber.

  • Experiment Gone Wrong
The captives' bodies were able to manage their sleep for the first four days. However, the fifth day marks the beginning of their harrowing trip. In a matter of days, their restlessness had skyrocketed well above their expectations. One of the hostages has lost his mental stability and gone berserk on the ninth day. One of the hostages lost consciousness and screamed for three hours. As a result, his voice chords were ripped off. All other hostages can now sense it as well. They began to mumble in an odd manner. The amount of the experimental gas was periodically raised by the researchers on site. One of the captives glued the pages of the book they were handed to the one-way mirrors one day. As a result, they were unable to assess their situation. Following then, the room was deafeningly quiet. The researchers, on the other hand, were aware of their survival since they looked at the amount of oxygen utilized.

When the researchers discovered that the atmosphere in that location was unusually quiet, they assumed that all of the captives had died. As a result, they had turned off the gas and said that the researchers would be entering the room shortly. However, one of the prisoners made the terrifying remark, "We don't want any release, we're staying here." It was a little frightening at first, but they were now thoroughly enjoying the procedure. They were hooked to the gas, which was a new experimental drug.
  • When researchers entered the room
All of the captives were clamouring for the gas to be turned back on. Researchers, on the other hand, were completely unresponsive to them. They had taken the decision to enter the room. But when they did, they discovered that all of the food had been left unattended, and that the floor had been splattered with blood. There were also some of the captives' organs taken out. A hostage had honed his ability to devour his own liver to the point that his bones could be seen plainly. When the researchers realised what was going on, they took them to the hospital. However, the captives demanded to return to the experiment room. They got eight injections of Morphine, while a normal person would only require one, yet they were still paying attentively. They insisted on having the procedure performed in front of them at all times.

  • After The Operation
Three of the five hostages perished as a result of the operation. That experiment, however, did not end there. The Soviet Union's Commanding Officer ordered the experiment to be carried out with the remaining two captives and three researchers. One of the researchers was so terrified that he shot the commanding commander who had ordered them to conduct the experiment with hostages. One of the researchers was so perplexed that he shot both the hostages and the researchers. Finally, he took his own life.
  • Russian Government On This Experiment
When asked about the sleep experiment, the Russian government denied it. They said it was a made-up hypothesis by someone. It has no resemblance to reality.
