A plane catches fire at Miami International Airport, USA

On a jet that had just landed at Miami International Airport in the US on Tuesday, a fire started. There were 126 individuals on board this aircraft when the disaster occurred. Thankfully, no one died, but three individuals did suffer minor injuries. 

The plane's landing gear reportedly broke and collapsed at the airport at approximately 5.30 p.m. (US time). The aircraft then crashed into a crane tower at the airfield. On social media, the accident footage has gone viral.

A team of investigators will go to the accident scene, according to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). In the meanwhile, firemen claim to have put out the fire, according to Miami's fire rescue squad.

The Red Air flight had landed in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, a representative for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department informed the Associated Press in an email. The fire caused its landing gear to malfunction. Following the event, some planes experienced delays.
